Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots will see plenty of old friends later this summer.

The Patriots will hold joint practices with the Lions in Detroit on Aug. 5, 6 and 7, the Lions confirmed Friday while announcing their training camp schedule.

Those practices will lead up to New England's preseason game in Detroit on Aug. 8, as Belichick's squad gets the chance to work a number of Patriots alumni, including Lions head coach Matt Patricia, wide receiver Danny Amendola, defensive end Trey Flowers and defensive back Justin Coleman.

The Patriots are going on the road twice for joint practices this summer, as they'll visit head coach Mike Vrabel's Titans the following week for joint sessions ahead of their Aug. 17 game in Tennessee.

New England has yet to announce dates for its 2019 training camp, but the defending Super Bowl champs are expected to kick things off in late July.
