The other Bennett brother is coming to Foxboro.

Tom E. Curran has confirmed the New England Patriots acquired defensive end Michael Bennett from the Eagles today for a fifth-round pick in 2020. The Pats will also receive a seventh-round 2020 selection.

Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer was the first to report the news.

NFL Media's Ian Rapoport also noted the Patriots had interest in the three-time Pro Bowl defensive end last year.

Bennett tallied nine sacks for the Eagles in 2018 after spending the previous five seasons with the Seattle Seahawks, where he won a Super Bowl title during the 2013 season.

Bennett's brother, tight end Martellus Bennett, had two separate stints on the Patriots in 2015 and 2017.
