The New England Patriots announced their coaching staff for the 2020 NFL season on Monday, and several notable changes have been made.
Jedd Fisch joins the staff as quarterbacks coach, which was offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels' responsibility in 2019. Fisch was hired in January after a stint with the Los Angeles Rams as an assistant offensive coordinator.
Demarcus Covington moves from outside linebackers to defensive line, Troy Brown goes from wide receivers to running backs and kick returners, and Stephen Belichick shifts from safeties/secondary to outside linebackers.

Brian Belichick was promoted to safeties coach after spending 2019 as a coaching assistant. Cam Achord has been promoted from assistant special teams coach to special teams coordinator.
Mick Lombardi takes over for New York Giants head coach Joe Judge as the Patriots’ new wide receivers coach.
With the legendary Dante Scarnecchia retired, Cole Popovich and Carmen Bricillo will share offensive line coaching duties.

Resuming their duties in 2020 will be Ivan Fears (running backs coach), Nick Caley (tight ends coach), Jerod Mayo (inside linebackers coach), Mike Pellegrino (cornerbacks coach), Moses Cabrera (strength and conditioning coach), and Deron Mayo (assistant strength and conditioning coach).
Special teams assistant Joe Houston, offensive assistant Tyler Hughes and defensive assistant Vinnie Sunseri are the newcomers to the Patriots coaching staff.
Similarly to last season, the Patriots didn't officially name a defensive coordinator.
All players are scheduled to report to training camp on July 28.
