New England Patriots fans will soon get a first glimpse at the defending Super Bowl champions in Foxboro.

The Patriots announced on Monday afternoon that they will begin training camp on Thursday, July 25. The practice sessions are free and open to the public. The Pats are scheduled to practice every day between the 25th and July 27th, each day beginning at approximately 9:15 a.m., with doors opening at 8:00 a.m.

Later on in training camp, New England will reportedly participate in joint sessions with both the Detroit Lions and Houston Texans. Respective head coaches Matt Patricia and Mike Vrabel both have ties to Bill Belichick and the Patriots.

All rookies must report to camp by July 21, while veterans report on July 24, and fans will get a chance to see how 42-year-old Tom Brady looks the next day. The NFL's preseason starts on August 8, and the regular season kicks off on September 5 with a Thursday night matchup between the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears. The Patriots open their 2019 season with a Sunday night game at home against the Pittsburgh Steelers on September 8.
