After missing the entire 2019 season due to blood clots, it looks like New England Patriots center David Andrews will return to the football field in 2020.
Andrews detailed his incredibly difficult experience with blood clots in an interview with 24/7 Sports.com's Rusty Mansell last month, and it sounds like it's something he's got under control moving forward.

The 27-year-old posted to Instagram Thursday that he's looking forward to getting back on the field with his teammates this coming season, seemingly indicating that he's ready to go whenever the 2020 campaign begins.
It also seems that second-year quarterback Jarrett Stidham is pretty excited to have Andrews back for the 2020 season... and why wouldn't he be? Andrews will hopefully make his transition to being the Patriots starting quarterback a little easier.
New England Patriots
The Patriots getting Andrews back for the upcoming season is not only a big deal for Stidham, but it's also incredibly good news for the organization as a whole. New England lost Ted Karras, who filled in for Andrews last season, to the Miami Dolphins after the 27-year-old signed a one-year, $4 million deal.
Andrews, who was signed as an undrafted free agent out of Georgia, has centered two Super Bowl-winning squads for New England since making his NFL appearance in 2015.
