There's no doubt that 2020 was an incredibly challenging year for everyone -- but sometimes a little perspective is all you need to put a positive spin on things.
David Andrews definitely has perspective -- and the Patriots center put that to use on Sunday via social media.
Even though Andrews was inactive for Sunday's regular-season finale, he still had an impressive season in 2020. Despite missing three games with thumb surgery, he only missed 21 snaps in the 13 games he started -- a great bounce-back campaign after missing the entire 2019 season due to blood clots in his lungs.

And on Instagram, Andrews gave thanks to longtime teammates Shaq Mason and Joe Thuney for their roles in his life over the past year, writing in part: "Thank you 2020. I know it was one of the toughest years for a lot of people and at times for myself included. With that being said I’m thankful I got the chance to go do what I love with some guys I love to do it with again. I was lucky to get to play another year with my 2 wingmen @josephthuney @shaqdiesel_70. Two of the toughest and best teammates I’ve ever had."

New England Patriots
Andrews -- who led fan balloting for the Pro Bowl this season -- is entering free agency this offseason. So while it's possible he has played his last game in a Patriots uniform, he's very appreciative of the past season.
