The New England Patriots' frustrations continued Sunday as they lost their matchup against the Buffalo Bills in perhaps the most deflating way possible.
Down three points late in the fourth quarter, the Patriots were in a position to at least have Nick Folk force overtime with a field goal. Instead, quarterback Cam Newton fumbled with 30 seconds remaining, and the Bills held on for the 24-21 win.
While it was a far more encouraging performance than last week's blowout loss to the San Francisco 49ers, Patriots running back Damien Harris isn't remotely satisfied.

"Losing is very frustrating. I'm sure everyone on this call has lost at something before and it's just not a good feeling," Harris said. "So the frustration level's definitely high. Moral victories mean nothing in this organization. So yeah, I mean, we're frustrated, I'm frustrated, the team is frustrated. You just gotta do better. There's really no other way to put it."
Harris did his part. The 23-year-old Alabama product tallied 102 yards on 16 carries and notched his first NFL touchdown.
As frustrated as he was with the team suffering its fourth straight loss, Harris isn't about to lose faith as they move to 2-5 on the year.

"We've just got to keep believing in each other. Losing's frustrating for sure, but I have just as much confidence in everyone in this locker room as I would've if we had won," Harris said. "We're in a tough spot right now and we've dug ourselves a hole, but that doesn't mean we can't dig ourselves out. It doesn't mean that our season's over. If we don't believe in each other, then we don't have a chance. So that's the way that this game works. If we won't believe in one another, then who will?"
Next up for the Patriots is a Monday Night Football matchup vs. the 0-8 New York Jets. Until then, all eyes will be on Bill Belichick and Co. as they'll have some important decisions to make before the Nov. 3 trade deadline.
