Patriots-Dolphins highlights: Newton's 2 TDs spark New England win

The Cam Newton era in New England is off and running... literally.

Not only did the Patriots quarterback rush for two touchdowns in his New England debut, he rushed for 75 yards, his most in a game since 2017 -- and the most by a Patriots quarterback since Steve Grogan in 1977. The 75 yards were also more than Tom Brady had rushed for in the previous two years combined (69 yards) so it's clear the Patriots offense will look very different in 2020.

Newton's workload on the ground was high even for him, as the 15 carries were the second most he's had in his NFL career.

Sony Michel also scored a rushing touchdown as the Patriots racked up 217 yards on the ground.

N'Keal Harry committed a costly mistake when his fumble at the 1-yard line went out of the end zone for a touchback, leading to the Dolphins' only touchdown drive of the day, but the Patriots open the season with a win.

FINAL SCORE: Patriots 21, Dolphins 11
