Some -- many? -- Patriots fans are wary of the team's 2018 chances after an offseason loaded with turmoil . . . but not Mark Wahlberg.
According to the New York Post, the Dorchester-born actor placed "a hefty" bet on the Pats to win the Super Bowl at the William Hill Sports Book at the Ocean Resort Casino in Atlantic City.
However, Wahlberg hedged his bet (to coin a phrase) by also putting "a few dollars on the Philadelphia Eagles." According to the Post, Wahlberg "has a soft spot for [the Eagles] after starring in 'Invincible' about their '70s player Vince Papale."
