Patriots Injury Report: Cam Newton limited again on Thursday

Share

As the New England Patriots prepare for Sunday's game vs. the Los Angeles Chargers, only a couple of changes were made to their injury report following Thursday's practice.

Fullback Jakob Johnson was the lone addition to the injury report as he was limited with a knee ailment. Rookie linebacker Anfernee Jennings was removed from the report after missing Wednesday's practice with an illness.

Cam Newton remained limited with an abdomen injury, but the Patriots quarterback downplayed the issue during his Thursday press conference.

The Chargers' lengthy injury report includes star defensive end Joey Bosa (shin) and cornerback Chris Harris (foot), who both were limited on Thursday. Defensive tackle Justin Jones was added for non-injury reasons and wide receiver Mike Williams returned to practice.
