Patrick Chung's legal troubles are on the New England Patriots' radar, the team confirmed Thursday.

The Patriots issued the following statement on social media after Belknap (N.H.) County confirmed it had indicted Chung on a cocaine possession charge:

We are aware of the reports regarding Patrick Chung. We will not be commenting while his judicial proceedings take place.

Chung knowingly possessed cocaine on June 25 in Meredith, N.H., where he owns a home, and was indicted on Aug. 8.

On Thursday, the Laconia Sun published a list of suspects indicted by a Belknap County grand jury that included 32-year-old Patrick C. Chung of Meredith, N.H.

The county confirmed that Chung is the Patriots safety, who has an arraignment scheduled for next Thursday at Belknap Superior Court.
