Patriots' locker room celebration featured a great Kyle Van Noy cameo

Kyle Van Noy had a good reason to miss the New England Patriots' season opener against the Pittsburgh Steelers, as his wife Melissa gave birth to their first child.

But Van Noy still was watching from afar. So, after the Patriots completed a 33-3 rout of Pittsburgh at Gillette Stadium, they used the wonders of technology to get their linebacker involved in the celebration.

Below is the Patriots' official video of the postgame locker room scene, and at the 1:07 mark, head coach Bill Belichick holds up a phone.

"New addition to the family," Belichick says, referencing Van Noy and his wife's child, Trae.

Van Noy then FaceTimed in to share the moment with his Patriots teammates, including Devin McCourty, Duron Harmon and Terrence Brooks. (Thats team president Jonathan Kraft chiming in behind them.)

Not a bad way for Van Noy to end his weekend.

The full video is worth a watch, as ex-Patriots quarterback Drew Bledsoe also makes a cameo with a friendly hello to his former backup, Tom Brady.

"What's up, youngster?" Bledsoe says. "I'm the only one who gets to call you young around here."

The Patriots still kept their celebration somewhat subdued, though, as they'll get right back to work this week ahead of a date with the Dolphins in Miami.
