With the 118th pick of the 2019 NFL Draft, the New England Patriots select Arkansas offensive lineman Hjalte Froholdt.

Froholdt (6-5, 306 pounds) is a native of Denmark and got a late start on his football career. He had a solid performance at the combine and is a raw talent who only played three seasons on the offensive line. He came to Arkansas as a defensive prospect but switched to the offensive line following his freshman year.

Froholdt joins Yodny Cajuste as linemen that the Patriots have drafted this year, and it marks back-to-back picks used on the position.

Notably, the Titans traded up ahead of the Lions and the Patriots with the 116th pick. That ensured that two former Belichick disciples (Jon Robinson and Bob Quinn) would pick in front of the Patriots. The Titans took Iowa safety Amani Hooker while the Lions selected Clemson defensive end Austin Bryant.
