Patriots Talk Podcast: What are the odds Tom Brady forms super team somewhere else?

All anyone can think about nowadays is where New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady will be playing next season.

In recent reports, the Patriots have said they'll offer Brady $30 million dollars to remain in New England, but the 42-year-old, however, wants some offensive weapons in order to be competitive throughout the remainder of his next deal.

There are plenty of teams in the NFL who would be happy to take on Brady and give him his deepest desires, but how likely is that? And what teams would he go to? Our Patriots insiders Tom E. Curran and Phil Perry discussed the odds on this weeks Patriots Talk Podcast.

"If you look at Tampa Bay, if Brady was to create a super team -- and I'm not just talking about offensively with weapons -- he can bring the kind of cultural change, even a greater one, I think, than Peyton Manning brought to the Denver Broncos in 2013," Curran said. "He goes to Tampa, now he's married up with Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, Breshad Perriman, James Howard."

Curran added that one of the only reasons the Tampa Bay Buccaneers struggled last season was because of their quarterback, Jameis Winston, who threw 30 interceptions on the year. There really isn't much stopping a team like the Buccaneers or Indianapolis Colts from targeting stars like Brady in free agency -- and that's exactly what Perry describes.

"Building a super team, pulling a LeBron (James), or a Steph Curry is certainly in play for a team who has that much cap space," Perry added. "I mean, what's keeping Indianapolis from going and getting Emmanuel Sanders and Hunter Henry to add to T.Y. Hilton and a good offensive line and a couple of good running backs, and a defense that is young and seemingly upcoming that could add Chris Jones from the Chiefs or any number of impact players that would turn them into an immediate Super Bowl favorite."

Clearly, if the Patriots want to keep Brady in their clutches, they'll have to provide him with some slick offensive weapons. If Brady walks, New England more than likely will be in trouble.
