The New England Patriots took care of business in Miami on Sunday, earning a convincing 43-0 win to improve to 2-0 on the season.

The game was highlighted by Antonio Brown's debut with the Patriots after officially joining the team Monday. Brown was used in a few different spots, including the slot, and quickly proved he's still one of the most talented wide receivers in the NFL.

Lets's take a look at the best and worst from the Patriots' huge win over the Dolphins at Hard Rock Stadium.

Tom Brady didn't put up huge stats, but he was efficient. He completed 20 of his 28 pass attempts for 264 yards with two passing touchdowns and zero interceptions. He also ran for a one-yard touchdown on a QB sneak in the fourth quarter. It was his 20th career rushing touchdown.

Patriots kicker Stephen Gostkowski attempted three kicks in the first half and missed two of them -- a 48-yard field goal attempt and an extra point, both in the second quarter. He finished 1-for-2 on field goals (made from 28 yards) and 4-for-6 on extra points.

Antonio Brown made his Patriots debut and wasted little time making an impact. He tallied three receptions for 36 yards and drew a defensive holding penalty in the red zone to set up a Sony Michel touchdown on the opening drive, and he hauled in a 20-yard touchdown catch at the end of the first half. Brown finished with four receptions for 56 yards and a touchdown on eight targets. Brady missed on his last four targets to Brown, but it looks like the veteran wide receiver is going to fit in just fine with the Patriots offense.

The spread for this game hovered around 18.5 points in favor of the Patriots all week, making it one of the four largest betting lines of the decade. Bettors typically are cautious of a spread that big, but this game wasn't hard to predict.

The Dolphins never had a chance to put points on the board and were dominated in every single facet of the game. Miami didn't even cross midfield until the fourth quarter. The Patriots easily covered the spread with a 43-0 shutout victory. They are 2-0-0 against the spread this season.

The Patriots stopped the Pittsburgh Steelers on nine of 12 third-down situations in Week 1, and they had similar success against the Dolphins. Miami went just 2-for-15 on third downs versus New England's defense. Opposing offenses are now 8-for-39 on third down against the Patriots since the start of Super Bowl LIII.

The Patriots didn't have starting right tackle Marcus Cannon versus the Dolphins after he suffered a shoulder injury against the Steelers and was limited at practice all this week. Starting left tackle Isaiah Wynn left in the first quarter Sunday with a foot injury, which really tested the Patriots' offensive line depth. Wynn later was ruled out for the game early in the third quarter. Marshall Newhouse, who the Patriots signed this past week, filled in for Cannon at right tackle.

We also can't forget that starting center David Andrews will miss the entire 2019 season due to blood clots. The Patriots need to re-assess their offensive line situation ASAP.

Sony Michel ran for 85 yards and one touchdown on 21 carries against the Dolphins. It was a good improvement over his Week 1 performance versus the Steelers during which he ran for just 14 yards on 15 carries. Michel's only mistake came in the fourth quarter when he lost a fumble -- just the second of his career.

Josh Gordon was one of the Patriots' best players in their Week 1 win over the Steelers, but he was pretty quiet Sunday in Miami. The 28-yeard-old veteran tallied just two receptions for 19 yards and zero touchdowns on five targets. His first catch didn't come until the third quarter.

Patriots defensive tackle Danny Shelton proved a difficult matchup for the Dolphins offensive line. Shelton tallied two tackles (one for loss), one sack and two quarterback hits. He also played a key role in the Patriots run defense, which limited the Dolphins to just 36 rushing yards.

Butler also was magnificent, tallying three tackles, two sacks, one pass defensed and two QB hits.

Dolphins quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick struggled mightily. He completed just 11 of his 21 pass attempts for 89 yards with zero touchdowns and three interceptions. Fitzpatrick finished with a lackluster 23.8 passer rating.
