Patriots-Rams Week 14 inactives: Rookie TEs get chance to shine

Is this the night we see the New England Patriots' rookie tight ends make an impact?

Both Devin Asiasi and Dalton Keene will be active for Thursday night's game vs. the Los Angeles Rams. Asiasi was activated from injured reserve earlier in the day, and TE Ryan Izzo was placed on IR with hand and hamstring injuries. TE Jordan Thomas is one of five Patriots players listed as inactive for Thursday Night Football.

The other four inactives are quarterback Brian Hoyer, running back J.J. Taylor, defensive tackle Isaiah Mack, and safety Terrence Brooks. This is great news for New England as it had 14 players -- including cornerback J.C. Jackson and QB Cam Newton -- listed as questionable on the most recent injury report.

On the Rams side, kicker Matt Gay is active after being listed as questionable with a shoulder injury.
