Patriots WR Phillip Dorsett ruled out vs. Giants, six others questionable

The New England Patriots will be a little thin at wide receiver Thursday night when they host the New York Giants at Gillette Stadium.

Phillip Dorsett has been ruled out with a hamstring injury. The 26-year-old wideout was forced to leave the team's Week 5 win over the Washington Redskins in the first quarter because of the hamstring injury. Six other Patriots players are questionable to play against the Giants, including veteran wide receivers Julian Edelman and Josh Gordon.

The Giants' offense has been decimated by injuries this season, and Week 6 is no exception.

New York will be without star running back Saquon Barkley, backup running back Wayne Gallman, wide receiver Sterling Shepard and starting tight end Evan Engram. Rookie quarterback Daniel Jones will have to rely on several second and third-string players against the NFL's best defense, which is far from an ideal situation for New York. Oddsmakers have taken notice, making the Giants historically massive underdogs heading into Foxboro.

Here are the final Week 6 injury reports for the Patriots and Giants. Wednesday's practice participation is in parenthesis.
