We're at an interesting time to be ranking quarterbacks. Heading into Week 16, this may be the last week we see some of these guys play in the regular season, depending on where their teams stand. Here's where the signal-callers stand as the season approaches the finish line.

Last week's ranking: 31

Week 15 stats: 19-of-31, 221 yards, 0 TD, 0 INT (Colt McCoy)

Daniel Jones, who missed last week with hamstring and ankle injuries, says he's doing everything he can to be available for Sunday's game against the Ravens. Not sure that's a good thing given the season he's had.

Last week's ranking: 29

Week 15 stats: 38-of-55, 295 yards, 1 TD, 2 INT, 28 rush yards (Dwayne Haskins)

There needs to be a book written on Dwayne Haskins' 2020 season. Despite being stripped of his captaincy for being seen maskless at a strip club, Haskins figures to be Washington's starter this week with Alex Smith presumably still out.

Nick Mullens is out for the year, meaning the 49ers are on their third starter of the season. They signed Josh Rosen off Tampa's practice squad.

Week 15 stats: 7-of-13, 89 yards, 1 TD, 0 INT, 47 rush yards, 1 rush TD

Season stats: 17-of-32, 164 yards, 1 TD, 2 INT, 66 rush yards, 1 rush TD

He can't complete passes, but boy was it fun watching Finley tag along for the Bengals' upset win over the Steelers.

Last week's ranking: 26

Week 15 stats: 17-of-27, 209 yards, 0 TD, 0 INT, 38 rush yards

Season stats: 65.9 completion %, 183.2 yards/game, 5 TD, 10 INT, 489 rush yards, 11 rush TD

What can I say that hasn't already been said? Newton's been a horrid passer and the team should be starting Jarrett Stidham for the sake of finding out whether the team's young pass-catchers can play. They won't know that with Newton sailing the ball over their heads.

Last week's ranking: 32

Week 15 stats: 22-of-31, 207 yards, 1 TD, 0 INT, 18 rush yards

Season stats: 59.7 completion %, 176.7 yards/game, 6 TD, 9 INT, 194 rush yards, 2 rush TD

Wins aren't a QB stat. For the first time this season, Sam Darnold wishes they were.

7/32

Last week's ranking: 27

Week 15 stats: 20-of-32, 132 yards, 1 TD, 0 INT, 37 rush yards

Season stats: 57.7 completion %, 211.8 yards/game, 14 TD, 13 INT, 2 rush TD

In what's been a chaotic season for him, Lock just had a regular, pretty bad game. Boring. Give me the four-touchdown-or-four-pick guy.

8/32

Last week's ranking: 22

Week 15 stats: 21-of-35, 258 yards, 0 TD, 0 INT, 26 rush yards, 1 rush TD

Season stats: 69.8 completion %, 258.5 yards/game, 14 TD, 8 INT, 265 rush yards, 5 rush TD

With another loss, Bridgewater has the Panthers in prime position to draft his replacement. Should the Patriots want him if he's cheap? I'd pass.

9/32

Last week's ranking: 19

Week 15 stats: 20-of-26, 145 yards, 0 TD, 1 INT

Season stats: 63.8 completion %, 1,359 yards, 9 TD, 2 INT, 3 rush TD

Tagovailoa was a non-factor against the Patriots, which was predictable. The Dolphins still won, which was also predictable.

Week 15 stats: 19-of-33, 209 yards, 2 TD, 0 INT

Season stats: 64.5 completion %, 172.1 yards/game, 11 TD, 6 INT

Don't look now, but Andy Dalton has back-to-back two-touchdown, no-pick games. Seriously, don't look. It doesn't matter.

11/32

Last week's ranking: 17

Week 15 stats: 15-of-21, 202 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT, 34 rush yards

Season stats: 64.5 completion %, 192.3 yards/game, 14 TD, 6 INT, 164 rush yards

Trubisky was efficient and unimpressive against the Vikings. Maybe that's his thing.

12/32

Last week's ranking: 11 (Derek Carr)

Week 15 stats: 17-of-28, 226 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT, 88 rush yards, 1 rush TD (Marcus Mariota)

Say this for Marcus Mariota: He was exciting in that loss to the Chargers. Win or lose, Derek Carr is never exciting. Carr's up to full participation in practice after leaving the Week 14 contest with a groin injury, so we'll see who gets the nod against Miami.

13/32

Last week's ranking: 21

Week 15 stats: 34-of-49, 356 yards, 3 TD, 0 INT, 16 rush yards, 1 rush TD

Season stats: 64.2 completion %, 286.9 yards/game, 22 TD, 11 INT, 1 rush TD

The good news: Ryan had one of his best performances of the season. The bad news: the game.

14/32

Last week's ranking: 19 ("under Whoever Starts for the Lions")

Week 15 stats: 22-of-32, 252 yards, 1 TD, 0 INT

Season stats: 64.2 completion %, 269.6 yards/game, 23 TD,9 INT

Stafford's playing through a couple injuries. The performance suggests it, too.

15/32

Last week's ranking: 16

Week 15 stats: 22-of-34, 209 yards, 2 TD, 1 INT

Season stats: 68.0 completion %, 265.6 yards/game, 20 TD, 12 INT, 4 rush TD

Jared Goff was worse against the Jets than Cam Newton was. Rough.

16/32

Last week's ranking: 25

Week 15 stats: 24-of-44, 338 yards, 3 TD, 0 INT, 63 rush yards, 1 rush TD

Season stats: 49-of-89, 647 yards, 5 TD, 1 INT, 254 rush yards, 1 rush TD

Given that this is a Patriots-centric website, it would be silly of me to not note that Hurts has been good in his two games as a starter. The Patriots took Kyle Dugger several picks ahead of him. That'll be worth keeping an eye on down the road.

17/32

Last week's ranking: 18

Week 15 stats: 22-of-29, 226 yards, 2 TD, 0 NT

Season stats: 66.1 completion %, 251.0 yards/game, 16 TD, 5 INT, 153 rush yards, 1 rush TD

Minshew was good in his return as the Jaguars' starter. Too bad his team's a catastrophe. I'd be keeping an eye on him if I were the Pats.

18/32

Last week's ranking: 15

Week 15 stats: 27-of-32, 297 yards, 2 TD, 0 INT

Season stats: 64.0 completion %, 220.1 yards/game, 25 TD, 8 INT, 1 rush TD

I know that Alex Smith will most likely get Comeback Player of the Year and he deserves it, but if there were an award for coming back from sucking at football, Mayfield would deserve it. He's had a solid season after last year's disappointment.

19/32

Last week's ranking: 13

Week 15 stats: 22-of-28, 228 yards, 2 TD, 0 INT

Season stats: 68.7 completion %, 266.8 yards/game, 22 TD, 9 INT

Rivers' streak of games without a pick is now at three. It's his longest such streak since the 2018 season.

20/32

Last week's ranking: 8

Week 15 stats: 20-of-38, 170 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT

Season stats: 65.3 completion %, 247.3 yards/game, 30 TD, 10 INT

Roethlisberger and the Steelers are sliding like crazy, a fact highlighted by an embarrassing loss to the Bengals on Monday Night Football. That's OK, though. You want to be playing your absolute worst football around this time of year, right?

21/32

Last week's ranking: N/A

Week 15 stats: 15-of-34, 234 yards, 3 TD, 1 INT

Season stats: 70.5 completion %, 243.0 yards/game, 21 TD, 4 INT, 2 rush TD

Don't let the three touchdowns fool you: Brees was underwhelming in his return from injury. That said, he's had a good season and figures to be better on Christmas Day against the Vikings.

22/32

Last week's ranking: 9

Week 15 stats: 24-of-35, 271 yards, 2 TD, 1 INT

Season stats: 67.6 completion %, 254.9 yards/game, 29 TD, 13 INT

Cousins has come back to earth a bit over these last couple of weeks, but overall he's managed to solidify as the team's QB of the present and future. That wasn't a sure thing early on.

23/32

Last week's ranking: 14

Week 15 stats: 31-of-45, 390 yards, 2 TD, 0 INT

Season stats: 65.1 completion %, 277.6 yards/game, 32 TD, 11 INT, 3 rush TD

The question nobody's asking: Why does Brady suck in the first halves of games against the Falcons so much?

24/32

Last week's ranking: 12

Week 15 stats: 22-of-32, 314 yards, 2 TD, 0 INT, 14 rush yards, 1 rush TD

Season stats: 66.5 completion %, 290.8 yards/game, 27 TD, 10 INT, 199 rush yards, 4 rush TD

Herbert was good against the Raiders in spite of his coaching. If they had him throw the ball in the fourth quarter, these numbers would have been a lot better.

25/32

Last week's ranking: 10

Week 15 stats: 17-of-22, 243 yards, 3 TD, 1 INT, 35 rush yards, 1 rush TD

Season stats: 64.8 completion %, 189.3 yards/game, 21 TD, 8 INT, 828 rush yards, 7 rush TD

Jackson had his best passing performance of the season Sunday. Sure, it was against the Jaguars, but an underwhelming passing offense will take what it can get.

26/32

Last week's ranking: 7

Week 15 stats: 33-of-41, 373 yards, 2 TD, 0 INT, 25 rush yards

Season stats: 69.9 completion %, 27 TD, 6 INT, 394 rush yards, 3 rush TD

Stop me if you've heard this before: Watson was good in a loss.

27/32

Last week's ranking: 6

Week 15 stats: 27-of-36, 406 yards, 3 TD, 1 INT, 29 rush yards, 1 rush TD

Season stats: 67.6 completion %, 259.8 yards/game, 26 TD, 11 INT, 741 rush yards, 11 rush TD

Murray threw for a career-high 406 yards in a win over the Eagles. He's going to be an MVP candidate next season.

28/32

Last week's ranking: 5

Week 15 stats: 21-of-27, 273 yards, 3 TD, 0 INT, 21 rush yards, 2 rush TD

Season stats: 66.5 completion %, 248.7 yards/game, 31 TD, 5 INT, 4 rush TD

Normally I'm bugged that Tannehill's ranked this high without putting up mammoth numbers. After totaling five touchdowns against the Lions, it's a lot easier to put him in the top five.

29/32

Last week's ranking: 3

Week 15 stats: 18-of-27, 121 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT, 52 rush yards

Season stats: 70.2 completion %, 271.9 yards/game, 37 TD, 13 INT, 475 rush yards, 1 rush TD

Don't fact-check me on this, but this has to be the lowest I've had Wilson on here since the season began. (Editor's note: We did fact check DJ... and it's true.) He's only had one game with multiple touchdowns over the last four contests. He's thrown picks in three of those games.

30/32

Last week's ranking: 4

Week 15 stats: 28-of-40, 359 yards, 2 TD, 0 INT, 33 rush yards, 2 rush TD

Season stats: 68.7 completion %, 285.7 yards/game, 30 TD, 9 INT, 383 rush yards, 8 rush TD

Allen ahead of Wilson? Yes. It's time. He throws for more yards per game and has as many total touchdowns with four fewer interceptions. He's also got the edge over Wilson in adjusted QB rating.

Last week's ranking: 2

Week 15 stats: 26-of-47, 254 yards, 3 TD, 0 INT, 37 rush yards

Season stats: 67.3 completion %, 318.7 yards/game, 36 TD, 5 INT, 287 rush yards, 2 rush TD

Mahomes is nipping at Aaron Rodgers' heels. There's a good chance he'll be in the top spot next week, as he faces a Falcons defense that's been torched by QBs far worse than Mahomes.

32/32

Last week's ranking: 1

Week 15 stats: 20-of-29, 143 yards, 1 TD, 0 INT, 26 rush yards, 1 rush TD

Season stats: 69.6 completion %, 273.4 yards/game, 40 TD, 4 INT, 3 rush TD

Rogers had an underwhelming performance against the Panthers, but his overall numbers still outshine Mahomes. He'll need to pick it up over the final two weeks if he wants to hold off Mahomes for the MVP.
