Baseball is over, which means it's time to rank some quarterbacks!

(That doesn't mean anything. Sounds cool, though.)

Last week's ranking: N/A

Week 7 stats: 9-of-19, 75 yards, 0 TD, 1 INT (Andy Dalton), 2-of-3, 39 yards, 0 TD, 0 INT (Ben DiNucci)

Quarterback seemed like the last thing that would be an issue for the Cowboys when they signed Andy Dalton to back up Dak Prescott. Now their depth chart at the position is just that Snoop Dogg "WHO?!" gif.

Last week's ranking: N/A

Week 7 stats: 12-of-23, 120 yards, 0 TD, 2 INT

Season stats: 58.4 completion %, 182.4 yards/game, 3 TD, 6 INT, 117 rush yards, 1 rush TD

Darnold's got no shot at looking impressive with this Jets team. The good news for him there is his next team won't have to give up much to get him.

4/32

Last week's ranking: 29

Week 7 stats: 24-of-40, 254 yards, 0 TD, 2 INT, 1 rush TD

Season stats: 55.9 completion %, 169.8 yards/game, 1 TD, 4 INT, 1 rush TD

Lock has been really bad in back-to-back games. He's only lost one of them, though, because apparently quarterbacks having bad games and beating the Patriots is a thing now.

5/32

Last week's ranking: 19

Week 7 stats: 9-of-15, 98 yards, 0 TD, 3 INT, 19 rush yards

Season stats: 67.2 completion %, 193.8 yards/game, 2 TD, 7 INT, 244 rush yards, 5 rush TD

I feel bad for Newton. That said, I think I make this week his last chance before making a change at QB. If he plays poorly and the Patriots lose, I'd go with Jarrett Stidham against the Jets. Maybe he's so bad that the Jets win and hurt up their chances at Trevor Lawrence.

Last week's ranking: 31

Week 7 stats: 20-of-30, 187 yards, 2 TD, 1 INT, 92 rush yards

Season stats: 61.9 completion %, 201.4 yards/game, 5 TD, 7 INT, 296 rush yards

Heading into last week, I wondered how a quarterback could have over 200 rushing yards, but no touchdowns. We all learned got the answer in painful detail.

Last week's ranking: 25

Week 7 stats: 28-of-40, 261 yards, 0 TD, 2 INT

Season stats: 64.1 completion %, 227.8 yards/game, 6 TD, 6 INT, 1 rush TD

Lemme tell ya: Ever since Nick Foles came in and threw three touchdowns in relief of Mitch Trubisky against the Falcons in Week 3, he's been quite bad (three passing touchdowns, five picks). The Bears are 5-2 in spite of their quarterback play.

Season stats: 2-of-2, 9 yards, 0 TD, 0 INT

Tagovailoa will make his first NFL start against a Rams team that's held opponents to 10 points or under in three of its last four games. He's also had two weeks to prepare, so that should help. Good luck, kiddo!

9/32

Last week's ranking: 26

Week 7 stats: 25-of-43, 359 yards, 2 TD, 1 INT, 1 rush TD

Season stats: 58.6 completion %, 251.4 yards/game, 10 TD, 10 INT, 185 rush yards, 5 rush TD

The numbers were good, but it was like pulling teeth watching Wentz and the Eagles try to beat the Giants. Goodness gracious.

10/32

Last week's ranking: 27

Week 7 stats: 15-of-25, 194 yards, 2 TD, 0 INT

Season stats: 68.8 completion %, 182.7 yards/game, 4 TD, 1 INT, 1 rush TD

What is going on with the Football Team? They're winning games (two of them! That's good in the NFC East) and Allen is playing well. I'm confused.

Week 7 stats: BYE

Season stats: 64.6 completion %, 245.8 yards/game, 11 TD, 10 INT

The Vikings will probably lose Sunday in Green Bay, which would drop them to 1-6 on the season. I've got my tinfoil hat on: What if the Vikings draft a quarterback high, Kyle Shanahan brings Cousins to San Fran and Jimmy Garoppolo ends up... you know where? You heard it here first!

Last week's ranking: 22

Week 7 stats: BYE

Season stats: 69.7 completion %, 266.3 yards/game, 7 TD, 6 INT

The Colts have been off since Rivers' best game of the season, when he threw for 371 yards and three touchdowns against the Bengals. Hopefully the "PHILIP RIVERS IS BACK" juice hasn't worn off.

Week 7 stats: 20-of-25, 277 yards, 0 TD, 2 INT

Season stats: 66.9 completion %, 202.4 yards/game, 7 TD, 4 INT

I'm old enough to remember when players would throw for no touchdowns and two picks and not blow out the Patriots.

Christian McCaffrey is nearing a return, which should help, but Bridgewater's been pretty solid without him.

15/32

Last week's ranking: 17

Week 7 stats: 25-of-36, 340 yards, 1 TD, 0 INT

Season stats: 62.3 completion %, 263.3 yards/game, 10 TD, 4 INT

The formula in Detroit has typically been Stafford putting up great numbers in losses. Well, after going 1-2 in a three-game stretch that saw him throw eight touchdowns, he's thrown just two over the last two games and the Lions have won both. Go figure.

16/32

Last week's ranking: 24

Week 7 stats: 22-of-28, 297 yards, 5 TD, 1 INT

Season stats: 63.1 completion %, 198.9 yards/game, 15 TD, 7 INT

For the first time in three games, Mayfield didn't throw multiple interceptions. He'd be having a solid third season if he could just get the turnovers under control. Life's about to become harder with Odell Beckham Jr. out.

17/32

Last week's ranking: 21

Week 7 stats: 35-of-47, 406 yards, 3 TD, 1 INT, 34 rush yards, 1 rush TD

Season stats: 66.6 completion %, 289.0 yards/game, 9 TD, 5 INT, 121 rush yards, 3 rush TD

Sunday's 406-yard game against the Browns marked his fifth 300-yard game this season. That ties the franchise record for most in a season, and given that the Bengals are always playing from behind, he'll break it.

18/32

Last week's ranking: 18

Week 7 stats: 14-of-27, 173 yards, 2 TD, 0 INT

Season stats: 65.9 completion %, 265.0 yards/game, 13 TD, 5 INT, 122 rush yards, 1 rush TD

I've officially decided Minshew is good despite the fact that I might have a stronger arm than him. Maybe Jacksonville actually sticks with him.

Week 7 stats: 31-of-42, 338 yards, 1 TD, 0 INT

Season stats: 66.4 completion %, 311.6 yards/game, 12 TD, 3 INT

Am I the only person who doesn't find the Falcons hilarious? It's just depressing, and it's not Ryan's fault. That video of him telling Todd Gurley not to score, Gurley agreeing, then immediately forgetting and scoring is devastating.

20/32

Last week's ranking: 9

Week 7 stats: 24-of-36, 284 yards, 2 TD, 1 INT

Season stats: 72.0 completion %, 287.7 yards/game, 13 TD, 2 INT

Carr slides a bit here. He wasn't great against the Bucs, but really, there's no shame in losing to that defense. It crushed Aaron Rodgers the week prior.

21/32

Last week's ranking: 15

Week 7 stats: 29-of-36, 287 yards, 2 TD, 0 INT, 1 rush TD

Season stats: 72.6 completion %, 269.7 yards/game, 11 TD, 3 INT, 2 rush TD

Here's a fun fact: Brees has zero rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns.

22/32

Last week's ranking: 11

Week 7 stats: 23-of-33, 219 yards, 2 TD, 0 INT

Season stats: 67.7 completion %, 255.6 yards/game, 12 TD, 4 INT, 2 rush TD

Goff's proving that last year (22 touchdowns, 16 interceptions) was an outlier, as he's tracking to have something more like his 28-touchdown, seven-pick sophomore season.

23/32

Last week's ranking: 7

Week 7 stats: 30-of-43, 307 yards, 0 TD, 0 INT

Season stats: 67.6 yards/game, 288.3 yards/game, 16 TD, 4 INT, 204 rush yards, 4 rush TD

I'm as pro-Allen as it gets, but even I'll admit no touchdowns against the Jets is unforgivable.

Watson's gotten back to playing well the last couple of games, but... the Texans are still losing. They're 1-6 on the season and going nowhere.

Rough week on the ol' P ranks for Lamar Jackson. Didn't play, but had two players jump into the top 10 and knock him down three spots.

Even though he stunk against the Titans, dropping to No. 8 feels a little cruel for Roethlisberger. That was his first bad game of the season, but he might have another coming up when he faces the Ravens Sunday.

This kid just flat-out rules. If people didn't care about fancy analytics like "wins," the rookie would be a dark horse MVP candidate.

We should have seen that Week 7 stat line coming a mile away. Murray always tears it up on the ground and the Seahawks give up tons of yards in the air. Combine the two and you get Murray's dominant performance on Sunday Night Football.

Now that was a great performance for Brady. The excitement over him throwing for 166 yards against the Packers was annoying, as it wasn't anything special. Five total touchdowns and 369 yards? That's actually special.

With a top-three defense in the league and all the weapons in the world, anything short of a Super Bowl title should be disappointing for Tampa.

Tannehill's first game without Taylor Lewan wasn't bad at all. He got sacked a couple times against Pittsburgh, and he can expect a harder time without the three-time Pro Bowler. Still, Tannehill doesn't really make mistakes, so even with less protection, he's probably not going to have panic-induced turnovers. Let's say it again: Ryan Tannehill is really, really good.

31/32

Last week's ranking: 2

Week 7 stats: 15-of-23, 200 yards, 1 TD, 0 INT

Season stats: 65.7 completion %, 271.3 yards/game, 16 TD, 1 INT

Mahomes hasn't been particularly flashy this season, as he's only thrown for three touchdowns in two of his seven games. Still, he's only thrown one pick on the season, giving him some of the best numbers overall among quarterbacks. The fact that the Chiefs are 6-1 without mammoth performances from Mahomes shows how well-rounded they are.

32/32

Last week's ranking: 3

Week 7 stats: 23-of-34, 283 yards, 4 TD, 0 INT

Season stats: 65.9 completion %, 276.2 yards/game, 17 TD, 2 INT

Rodgers showed last week that his rough Week 6 performance was just a combination of facing an awesome defense and him having an off-day. If you take away the Bucs game, he's been pretty much perfect (13 touchdowns and no picks over four games, all of which were wins). He leapfrogs Mahomes here because in addition to having a better Week 7, he's put up similar numbers overall with a much weaker supporting cast.
