Ravens' Lamar Jackson clears concussion protocol after being kicked in face

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson had to leave Sunday's Week 13 game against the Atlanta Falcons and be placed in the concussion protocol after accidentally being kicked in the face by a teammate.

Here's an image of the cleat that Jackson took the face.

Ouch.

Jackson later returned in the second half, which is great news for the Ravens. The rookie quarterback is starting in place of veteran Joe Flacco, who has missed the last three games (including Sunday) because of a hip injury.

Baltimore entered Week 13 with a 6-5 record and the No. 6 seed in the AFC playoff race. The Ravens still have a chance to win the AFC North division. They are in second place behind the Pittsburgh Steelers (7-3-1).
