Report: Colts plan to hire Josh McDaniels as their head coach

Josh McDaniels has left Belichick's side once before. It definitely didn't go as planned.

But with several more years of experience under his belt, the Patriots offensive coordinator thinks he's ready to give it another go.

According to NFL insider Adam Shefter, the Colts and McDaniels met again this past Friday. As a result of the meeting, they plan to hire him as their next head coach after the Super Bowl.

McDaniels will be inheriting what might finally be a healthy Andrew Luck. Who is certainly better than Tim Tebow, the QB he had in Denver.

Indianapolis recently fired Chuck Pagano, who served as head coach for the past six seasons.
