Several NFL teams are dealing with false-positive COVID-19 test results, and it appears the New England Patriots are one of them.

Jeff Howe of The Athletic reported Sunday the Patriots received false-positive COVID-19 results over the weekend. The results in question are connected to a BioReference Laboratory in New Jersey.

Howe's report comes shortly after the NFL released a statement Sunday morning about possible false-positive tests being an issue across the league for teams that have been using the BioReference Lab.

A number of players who were present at Patriots camp Friday were absent on Sunday including running back James White, cornerback Michael Jackson, and running back JJ Taylor.
