The New England Patriots continue to bring in tight ends in an effort to shore up their depth at the position.
The Pats hosted tight end Paul Quessenberry for a visit Thursday, according to the NFL's transaction wire (h/t Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer).
Quessenberry played defensive end at the University of Navy during the 2013 and 2014 seasons. He tallied 38 total tackles with 1.5 sacks and two passes defensed in 13 games for Navy during the 2014 campaign. He's listed at 6-foot-2 and 251 pounds.
Quessenberry is not the only tight end the Patriots have brought in for a visit and/or worked out over the last week. New England also hosted tight ends Paul Butler and Alex Ellis on Sunday and signed them both Monday.
Tight end is one of the most intriguing position battles on the Patriots roster during training camp.
