It's no secret Julian Edelman was banged up for most of the 2019 campaign.

The New England Patriots wide receiver dealt with shoulder and knee injuries that likely will require surgery in the offseason.

In addition to those ailments, Edelman apparently had a painful rib injury. ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Sunday the 33-year-old played through partially torn rib cartilage since Week 3 vs. the New York Jets.

During that game, Edelman headed to the locker room before halftime holding his right rib area.

Amazingly, the three-time Super Bowl champion didn't miss a single game all year. He hauled in 100 receptions while setting a career-high in receiving yards (1,117) and touchdown receptions (six).
