It's been a week without a cryptic tweet from Rob Gronkowski about his future but, according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, signs are good for a return to the Patriots for their All-World tight end.
One note: #Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski’s status may be officially up in the air, but he’s spent his days working out at the TB12 Sports Therapy Center at Gillette. That’s another good sign for New England.

Rapoport, of course, reported back on Feb. 28 that Gronk, amid rumors of retirement to join the WWE or make action films, or both, was expected to return to New England.
Gronk's one-word twee of "#clueless" that same day appeared to be a response to the Rapoport report.
NFL free agency begins Wednesday and Gronkowski's uncertain status is one of several issues that will impact the Patriots' offseason plans.
