The Steelers are sticking with kicker Chris Boswell for their showdown Sunday with the Patriots after trying out veteran Kai Forbath this week, according to an ESPN report.
Boswell missed two field goals Sunday, including a 40-yarder in the closing seconds when he slipped on the turf in the 24-21 loss in Oakland. He's 10-for-16 on field goals and 39-for-44 on extra points this season.

Boswell is one of the highest-paid kickers in the league after signing a five-year, $20 million deal in the offseason. Another high-paid kicker, the Patriots' Stephen Gostkowski (in the final year of his four-year, $17.2 million deal), had his own struggles Sunday, missing a 48-yard field goal and his first extra point of the season after making 37 in a row.
Gostkowski, 34, is 24-for-29 on field goal attempts this season, with all the misses from 40 yards or longer. He's 40-for-41 on extra points. On Wednesday, Bill Belichick expressed confidence in the veteran kicker.

"Steve’s kicked in the league a long time," Belichick said. "There’s a lot of aspects to kicking. There are three people involved, not just one. It’s not like a kickoff where you just put the ball on the tee. So, just collectively, we’ve got to – obviously, the expectations are high, and hopefully, we’ll be able to convert on all of our scoring opportunities. That’s the goal. But, nobody takes it more seriously than Steve does. So, I have a lot of confidence in him."
