Robert Kraft is maintaining his innocence.

The New England Patriots owner has waived his arraignment and requested a jury trial after pleading not guilty to two counts of soliciting prostitution, according to court documents obtained by NBC Sports Boston's Phil Perry.

Kraft's arraignment was set for March 28, but his attorneys filed documents electronically Tuesday requesting a jury trial that would negate the arraignment.

Kraft apologized in a statement Saturday but didn't admit to any illegal activity stemming from allegations that he paid for sex acts at the Orchids of Asia Day Spa in Jupiter, Fla,.

The Patriots owner's attorneys have questioned the legality of Florida police's investigation into Kraft and others, arguing police illegally obtained video evidence and conducted an illegal traffic stop of Kraft.
