The best game in Week 1 of the 2020 NFL season is a matchup between two Hall of Fame quarterbacks in Drew Brees and Tom Brady.
Brady will be making his Buccaneers debut Sunday afternoon when Tampa Bay takes on the Saints in New Orleans. The 43-year-old quarterback joined the Bucs in free agency after spending 20 seasons and winning six Super Bowl titles with the New England Patriots.
Brady wasn't the only notable upgrade for the Buccaneers on offense during the offseason. They also traded for former Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski and signed former Jacksonville Jaguars running back Leonard Fournette.
The addition of Brady and others has Bucs fans hoping for the team's first playoff appearance since 2007.
Brees and the Saints are looking to make a statement against what should be one of their top competitors in the division and conference title races. New Orleans has won the NFC South three consecutive seasons and went 13-3 last year. However, an NFC Wild Card loss at home to the Minnesota Vikings was a pretty disappointing end to the Saints' 2019 campaign, so you can bet they are plenty motivated to begin 2020 on the right foot.
