Tom Brady is probably still on the massage table getting treatment for his Super Bowl 52 hits but Steelers receiver Antonio Brown added another via Instagram:
The Pittsburgh All-Pro wideout's post asked his former-teammate-turned-Patriot, James Harrison to tell TB12 to "hmu" (i.e. hit me up) to work on his hands this offseason. And "lost his trainer" apparently refers to Alex Guerrero having his team plane and sideline privileges taken away by the Patriots.
Yes, DJ Bean, you may be right:
The Patriots and Browns both announced that Josh Gordon had been traded to New England on Monday. On WEEI Radio on Monday and in his conference call with Patriots media on Tuesday, Belichick said the deal wasn't complete and he wouldn't talk hypothetically about a player who wasn't on the Patriots roster.
On Tuesday, Gordon passed his physical with the Pats and the NFL put the trade on the league transaction wire. On the NFL's shopping site, a Gordon Patriots jersey -- he'll apparently wear No. 10 -- is available for purchase.
So, when Belichick held his Wednesday press conference, it was assumed he would talk about Gordon.
Well, never assume.
As one newcomer (sort of) arrives, another newcomer departs . . .
Barner's return skills were touted as the main reason the Patriots brought him on board last week, but Jones' return make him expendable.
