Stephon Gilmore has had enough.
A white police officer's shooting of an unarmed Black man, Jacob Blake, in Kenosha, Wisc., on Sunday has sparked a wave of protests that included the Milwaukee Bucks and professional sports teams in Major League Baseball, Major League Soccer and the WNBA boycotting upcoming games.
Many professional athletes have used social media to speak out after Blake's shooting, and Gilmore joined the chorus Thursday morning.

"I do not have the words to meet the depths of my frustration & sadness," the New England Patriots cornerback wrote. "But, I do know that the senseless killings & shootings of Black Americans by the police and vigilantes has to stop. These are human rights violations. My children deserve better. We all deserve better."
Gilmore's teammates, Devin and Jason McCourty -- who tweeted their support of the Bucks' boycott Wednesday night -- quickly endorsed his comments.
Gilmore sent the tweet shortly before taking the practice field Thursday at Gillette Stadium.

The New York Jets, Washington Football Team and Indianapolis Colts decided to cancel their practices Thursday in the wake of Blake's shooting, but the Patriots held their practice as scheduled.
Still, it appears Blake's shooting has had a profound impact on Gilmore, who joined several NFL stars earlier this year in calling for the league to condemn racism and support their Black athletes following George Floyd's killing.
