These NFL players are perplexed over Patriots CB J.C. Jackson's Pro Bowl snub

When the AFC and NFC rosters for the 2021 NFL Pro Bowl were announced Monday, there was one New England Patriots player who surprisingly didn't make the list.

That player was cornerback J.C. Jackson.

The 25-year-old defensive back ranks second in the NFL with eight interceptions. He's also been fantastic in pass coverage.

Many Patriots fans were baffled at Jackson's snub, and the feeling was shared by some of his teammates and competitors.

Patriots wide receiver Jakobi Meyers took to Twitter to voice his opinion on the matter:

Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Darius Slay also couldn't believe Jackson wasn't selected to the Pro Bowl, and Baltimore Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey expects the Patriots star to receive a different year-end honor.

The Patriots have two more games remaining in the regular season -- a Week 16 matchup against the Buffalo Bills and a Week 17 finale versus the New York Jets. If Jackson continues to play at a high level in both of these games, it wouldn't be surprising if he ends up earning the first All-Pro selection of his young career.
