That time Bill Belichick blew off Kevin Hart in Patriots' locker room

Bill Belichick is laser-focused on doing his job.

And that job doesn't entail chatting up actors after New England Patriots games.

Just ask Kevin Hart, who relayed an amusing anecdote Tuesday on HBO's "The Shop" about the time he dared enter the Patriots' locker room with tight end Rob Gronkowski.

"I'm like, ‘Rob, I don’t think this is a good idea for me to go in,' " Hart recalled. " ... The first person I see when I walk in is Bill Belichick.

"Bill Belichick’s walking this way, (and I say,) ‘Hey Bill, what’s up?’ This mother-(expletive) didn’t speak, didn’t shake my hand. I said, 'Oh, they serious up in here.' "

(You can watch the clip on Twitter here.)

Indeed they are, Kevin.

Belichick isn't totally averse to locker room visitors -- close pal Jon Bon Jovi is among those who have peeked behind the curtain -- but considering he's even ignored Tom Brady while passing him in the hallway, we can totally see Belichick not giving Hart the time of day.

Hart's funny story was one of several notable moments from "The Shop," as Gronkowski also opened up about what led him to retire from the NFL at 29.
