Tom Brady posts lengthy tribute to trainer Alex Guerrero on Instagram

One Instagram post wasn't enough for Tom Brady to show his love for Alex Guerrero.

After shouting out his personal trainer and business partner in an Instagram story the day after Super Bowl LIII, the New England Patriots quarterback used Instagram on Wednesday to post a more formal tribute to his right-hand man.

"My brother @ag_tb12 has been with me through everything for the past 15 years!" Brady wrote of Guerrero. "And I am so appreciative and grateful for his hard work and commitment to helping me become the best I could be. I couldn’t do it without him! It is pretty special when people come together to work hard at a common goal! And this past year was our best yet!!

"Al, thank you for always being by my side. Thru every broken bone, torn ligament, sprain, bruise, etc, your work never ceases to amaze me! Can’t wait to get back to work toward number 7!!! We didn’t come this far to only come this far"

Guerrero has endured some criticism in recent years and reportedly clashed with Patriots head coach Bill Belichick during the 2017 season, to the point where the trainer released a statement in his own defense last January.

It appears those issues were resolved in 2018, though (at least publicly), as Guerrero -- who co-founded the TB12 Sports Therapy Center next to Gillette Stadium -- continued to work with Brady and several other Patriots players.

Judging by Brady's Instagram post, Guerrero will be by the QB's side in 2019, as well.
