Tom Brady is a Super Bowl champion for the sixth time, but the Patriots quarterback couldn't do it alone.
Brady got plenty of assistance from Super Bowl LIII MVP Julian Edelman and a sensational performance by the Pats defense. After the game, Brady thanked another contributor on his Instagram story: Alex Guerrero.
Fittingly, Brady's message to his controversial longtime trainer is joined by a message to the critics that reads, "#tooOldtooSlowstillHereNeverleft". Brady and the Patriots embraced an underdog mentality throughout the playoffs, fueled by folks like ESPN's Max Kellerman and Fox Sports 1's Rob Parker who have been ruthless with their Brady "falling off a cliff" takes.
