Teams can only play opponents that are on their schedule, and for the Patriots, those opponents haven't exactly been strong to start the 2019 season.

New England has faced three of the four remaining winless teams in the NFL (Jets, Dolphins, Redskins), and their four opponents have a combined record of 5-18 this season. 

Sunday's game against Washington continued that pillowy soft start to the regular season, and after a sluggish start to the game, New England woke up and scored 33 unanswered points en route to a 33-7 victory.

The matchup of the Patriots' top-ranked defense against Colt McCoy was predictably one-sided, but how did Tom E. Curran's predictions compare to what actually went down at FedExField?
