UMass WR Andy Isabella gets even faster at combine when laser error corrected

Turns out Andy Isabella is faster than anyone thought. So fast, that the NFL lasers couldn't keep up with him at the combine?

The receiver out of UMass was originally listed with a 4.56 40-yard dash, but the laser that timed him was in error, according to the NFL, per NFL's Network's Mike Giardi and ESPN's Field Yates.

His official time of 4.31 ties Ohio State star receiver Parris Campbell as the fastest man at Indy this year.

The 5-8, 187-pound receiver met with the Patriots at the Senior Bowl, where he caught seven passes for 74 yards. He famously bested Browns cornerback Denzel Ward, the No. 4 overall pick last year - in a 100-meter dash when both were Ohio high schoolers.

Isabella caught 102 passes for 1,698 yards and 13 touchdowns in his senior season for the Minutemen, including a 15-catch, 219-yard performance against Georgia. For more on the potential Pats draft target, and other receivers at the combine, click here for Phil Perry's analysis.
