Boston College has officially put Clemson on upset.
The Eagles are on the road Saturday afternoon against the No. 1 ranked team in the nation, and they are playing exceptionally well.
BC went right down the field with relative ease on its first two drives and led 14-7 at the end of the first quarter. The Eagles opened up a 21-7 advantage with a 99-yard fumble return touchdown early in the second quarter.
Clemson running back Travis Etienne couldn't handle the handoff from Tigers quarterback D.J. Uiagalelei cleanly, and the ball popped loose.

Clemson was favored by more than three touchdowns entering this game, and it's in real trouble as halftime approaches.
The Tigers are without superstar quarterback and likely 2021 No. 1 overall NFL draft pick Trevor Lawrence, who tested positive for COVID-19 earlier in the week. Uiagalelei is making his first career start.
