Watch Jarrett Stidham's awesome celebration after Patriots drafted him

Suffice it to say, Jarrett Stidham was a bit more animated than Bill Belichick after the two got off the phone last Saturday.

The Patriots took Stidham with the No. 133 overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, and we've seen video of Belichick calling the Auburn quarterback from New England's "war room" to deliver the news.

But now there's video of that phone call from Stidham's vantage point, and it's pretty great.

The 22-year-old was appreciative and polite while on the phone with Belichick -- looks like he had great cell reception, too -- but after the pick was official, the emotions started flowing.

Stidham then commemorated the moment with ... a giant cannonball, clothes and all, into a pool.

You'd be jumping for joy too if you joined the defending Super Bowl champions, but Stidham might have to wait a few years to get his feet wet, as Tom Brady is back for his 20th NFL season and shows no signs of regression at age 42.
