Watch Patriots fool Steelers defense on 63-yard Tom Brady touchdown pass

Chris Hogan caught a long touchdown pass from Tom Brady on a flea-flicker in the 2016 AFC Championship Game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, and the two combined for another score on a trick play Sunday at Heinz Field.

Brady took the snap and faked handoffs to Rex Burkhead and Julian Edelman, then the Patriots quarterback surveyed the field and found a wide open Hogan, who caught the pass and outran all Steelers to the end zone for a 63-yard touchdown. Watch it unfold in the video below:

Check out this cool stat explaining just how wide open Hogan was on that play.

The touchdown tied the score 7-7 in the first quarter and halted the momentum the Steelers gained after a quick, easy score on their opening drive.

Hogan has struggled for the Patriots this season. This touchdown catch was his first since Week 2, and the 63 yards he earned on the score were four less than he tallied in the last five games combined. Maybe this play is the spark the Patriots wide receiver needs to regain the stellar form he displayed in recent seasons.
