Watch Patriots score defensive touchdown after sacking Jets' Sam Darnold

The New England Patriots inflicted more misery on the rival New York Jets with a defensive touchdown in the third quarter of Sunday's game to increase their lead to 28-3.

Patriots defensive tackle Adam Butler sacked Jets rookie quarterback Sam Darnold and forced a fumble, then linebacker Kyle Van Noy recovered the ball and returned it 46 yards for a Patriots touchdown.

It was the Patriots' fourth non-offensive touchdown of the 2018 season -- their highest such total since 2014.

A victory for the Patriots clinches at least the No. 2 seed and a first-round bye in the AFC playoffs.
