Watch Patriots WR Jakobi Meyers haul in two touchdown passes in preseason opener

Jakobi Meyers has been one of the Patriots' standouts in training camp, and that has carried over into the preseason.

The undrafted rookie out of North Carolina State was the star in New England's preseason opener vs. the Lions. Meyers tallied two touchdown grabs from two different quarterbacks in the first half.

The first TD came on a three-yard pass from Brian Hoyer.

The second was a five-yarder from fellow rookie Jarrett Stidham.

Meyers finished the first half with five receptions for 52 yards.

So far, the 22-year-old has been one of the Patriots' most impressive rookies heading into the new season. Tom Brady noted earlier this week Meyers is "taking advantage of his opportunities."

For a Pats team that needs all the wide receiver help it can get, that's certainly an encouraging sign.
