FOXBORO, Mass. -- Josh Gordon's return to the New England Patriots got off to a fantastic start Sunday night against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The veteran wide receiver caught a 20-yard touchdown pass from Patriots quarterback Tom Brady late in the first quarter to give New England a 7-0 lead and send the Gillette Stadium crowd into a frenzy.

Gordon's touchdown was set up by a trick play earlier in the drive where Julian Edelman caught a pass, and then threw the ball back across the field to James White. White picked up 32 yards to move the Pats into the red zone.
Sunday night's game is Gordon's first with the Patriots since he was suspended indefinitely by the NFL after a Week 15 loss last season. He was reinstated last month.
