David Ortiz is doing well three months after being shot in the Dominican Republic.
On Friday, Red Sox manager Alex Cora revealed he visited Big Papi before the team's west-coast road trip last week and said Boston's beloved slugger is "in a good place," finally getting to eat all the food he enjoys.

Cora isn't the only notable baseball figure to recently pay a visit to Ortiz. With the Yankees in town this weekend to take on the Red Sox in a three-game series, Gary Sanchez and Edwin Encarnacion stopped by and posted photos from their visit on Instagram.
Ortiz was released from the hospital at the end of July and released a statement thanking fans and Red Sox ownership. He has since hired former Boston police commissioner Ed Davis to lead an investigation into the shooting, which was ruled by Dominican officials as a "mistaken identity."
