Two exciting prospects will represent the Boston Red Sox in the 2022 All-Star Futures Game.

Right-hander Brayan Bello and utility man Ceddanne Rafaela were selected to the American League roster for the annual showcase. They are ranked as the organization's No. 3 and No. 26 prospects respectively, per MLB Pipeline.

Bello, 23, made his MLB debut with the Red Sox against the Tampa Bay Rays on Wednesday night. It was a rocky first start for the Dominican Republic native, but he provided glimpses of the electric stuff he's shown in the minors. He's posted a 10-4 record with a 2.33 ERA and 114 strikeouts in 15 games between Double-A Portland and Triple-A Worcester this year.

Rafaela, 21, has been the Red Sox farm system's breakout star in 2022. The 5-foot-8, 150-pounder has raked with High-A Greenville and Double-A Portland this season, slashing .330/.368/.594 with 15 homers and 54 RBI through 69 games. He's also notched 18 stolen bases and 22 doubles.

The promising young duo will join 48 other prospects from around the league in the All-Star Futures Game. Bello is one of 31 prospects ranked in MLB Pipeline's Top 100 set to compete in the exhibition.

The 2022 All-Star Futures Game will take place at Dodger Stadium on Saturday, July 16 at 7 p.m. ET.
