The Boston Red Sox didn't give their fans much to cheer about during the 2019 MLB season, but Brock Holt lifted many fans' spirits Sunday after the Sox played their final game of the year.

Holt gave away several of his game used bats to fans outside the stadium, making for a really cool moment amid a disappointing season.

This show of generosity could have been Holt's final act as a Red Sox player. Holt will be a free agent this offseason, and it's possible the Red Sox look to fill his role with a younger, less expensive player

Holt arrived in Boston in 2013, and he's been a fan favorite throughout his tenure with the Red Sox. Sunday's gesture was a great example of why Holt is so beloved in Red Sox Nation, and that fondness isn't likely to dissipate if he leaves in free agency.
