Cora: Pedroia to rehab in Arizona, but still expects him back this season

Dustin Pedroia is going to continue his rehab in Arizona, Alex Cora said, but the Red Sox manager still expects the injured second baseman to return this season.

Pedroia, who turns 35 Aug. 17, has been limited to only three games after returning to the lineup May 26 as he recovers from knee surgery he had in October.

Brock Holt (.296/.376/.401) and Eduardo Nunez (.256/.286/.370) have been playing second in his absence and the Sox recently signed veteran Brandon Phillips, 37, who began playing at Class-A Lowell in the past week.
