One of the most iconic Boston Red Sox moments of the last decade occurred exactly seven years ago.
The Red Sox trailed the Detroit Tigers 5-1 in Game 2 of the ALCS, then David Ortiz stepped to the plate with the bases loaded in the eighth inning.
Big Papi crushed a game-tying grand slam over the bullpen wall that proved to be one of the most pivotal moments of the 2013 postseason. Making Ortiz's blast even more memorable was the sight of outfielder Torii Hunter flipping over the wall while Boston police officer Steve Horgan raised his arms in celebration.
Ortiz celebrated the anniversary of his grand slam by trolling Hunter with a message on Twitter:
Hunter had a pretty great response:
Ortiz's grand slam will live forever in Boston Red Sox lore. Unfortunately for Hunter and the Tigers, they can expect to relive it every year on Oct. 13.
