Dustin Pedroia made an early exit from Wednesday night's game vs. the Yankees.
The Red Sox second baseman was replaced in the second inning by Eduardo Nuñez due to left knee discomfort. That's the same knee he had surgery on in 2017.
Pedroia appeared to grimace after flying out in his only at-bat of the game.
Grimace there at the end? I don't know, only thing that caught my eye. pic.twitter.com/C2hoqXwuBb

Following the game, manager Alex Cora told reporters Pedroia "felt something weird" in his knee and will see a doctor in New York on Thursday.
