Jarren Duran will be available for the Boston Red Sox' next series in Toronto.

The 25-year-old outfielder missed the team's recent series vs. the Blue Jays at Rogers Centre due to being unvaccinated against COVID-19. On Friday, he revealed he has decided to get vaccinated.

“I love this game too much to miss out on opportunities to play baseball,” Duran said, per MassLive.com. “I could care less about the money or service time or any of that. I missed the boys and missed playing baseball. That was kind of like the deciding factor.”

Duran and right-hander Tanner Houck were placed on the restricted list Monday ahead of Boston's trip to Canada. Houck declined to comment on Friday when asked whether he has reconsidered his stance on vaccination.

The Red Sox will be in Toronto for the penultimate series of the regular season from Sept. 30-Oct. 2. Duran is back in Boston's lineup and leading off for Friday's series opener vs. the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field.
