Remember the stories of Dustin Pedroia being stopped by security before World Series games at Dodger Stadium and Coors Field?

This Barkett story was one of the highlights of the Red Sox' first full day in London ahead of their two-game series with the rival Yankees on Saturday and Sunday.

More recognizable Red Sox, such as Mookie Betts, got their first look at London's Olympic Stadium and caught up with filmmaker and Yankees superfan Spike Lee, as well as former West Ham player Carlton Cole. West Ham is the usual tenant at the Stadium.
